PERM Processing Times & Visa Bulletin – June 2024

The Department of Labor reports that PERM processing times are approximately 12-13 months. Cases that are currently being adjudicated have a Priority Date of April 2023.

Cases that are under Audit Review have a longer processing time of about 15 months. Cases currently being adjudicated in Audit Review have a Priority Date of December 2022.

June 2024 Visa Bulletin

The updated Visa Bulletin for June 2024 has been released.  See the full bulletin here. 

Individuals seeking to file applications for adjustment of status with USCIS must use the “Final Action” dates for determining when they can file such applications.

Final Action Changes

All Chargeability (all countries except those otherwise listed):

  • EB-1 remains current
  • EB-2 remains January 15, 2023
  • EB-3 remains November 22, 2022
  • EB-3 other workers remains October 8, 2020

China:

  • EB-1 remains September 1, 2022.
  • EB-2 remains February 1, 2020
  • EB-3 remains September 1, 2020
  • EB-3 other workers remains January 1, 2017

India:

  • EB-1 remains March 1, 2021.
  • EB-2 remains April 15, 2012.
  • EB-3 moved forward to August 22, 2012
  • EB-3 other workers moved forward to August 22, 2012

Mexico and Philippines:

  • EB-1 remains current
  • EB-2 remains January 15, 2023
  • EB-3 remains November 22, 2022
  • EB-3 other workers (Mexico) remains October 8, 2020 
  • EB-3 other workers (Philippines) remains May 1, 2020
